Logo após foi a Beija Flor de Nilopolis, também com um carnaval fantástico, mas nada diferente dos outros anos e por último foi a escola da comunidade do Borel na Tijuca, que também fez um grande desfile e onde encontrei vários amigos. A Unidos da Tijuca, junto com Beija Flor e a Vila Isabel foram as melhores de domingo. Mas a Vila até agora é a favorita. Se fosse colocar em ordem as favoriras: VILA ISABEL, BEIJA FLOR, TIJUCA, MOCIDADE E IMPÉRIO SERRANO, a GRANDE RIO eu não vi desfilar, portanto não posso opinar. Vamos esperar segunda-feira.

A VILA ISABEL FOI IMPECÁVEL!
Ontem estava no Sambódromo e desfilei na Vila Isabel, que arrebentou na avenida, com o enredo sobre o Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro. A primeira a entrar foi a tradicional escola de Madureira, Império Serrano, que empolgou com o samba "A lenda das Sereias e os Mistérios do Mar" um enredo de 1976 reeditado pela escola. Mas o ponto alto do seu desfile foi a sua Bateria, com várias paradinhas arrenbetou na avenida. Depois foi a escola de Caxias, a Grande Rio, que eu não tive a oportunidade de ver, já que fui para a concentração da Vila Isabel, a terceira entrar na avenida. Simplesmente maravilhosa a escola de Vila Isabel com uma garra impressionante entrou na avenida e lavantou o público com um bonito samba de enredo. Os carros alegóricos e as fantasias luxuosas, tudo com muito bom gosto. Mas a bateria do mestre Mug, simplesmente encantou a todos na Sapucaí. Para ganhar o Caranaval deste ano, terão que derrotar a Vila Isabel.
